I’ve had the opportunity to photograph stand-up comedy across a wide range of venues in London, from large-scale performances to more intimate comedy nights.
This includes venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and O2 Indigo, as well as smaller comedy clubs and independent venues across the city.
Each space brings a different energy. Large venues demand a strong understanding of lighting, timing, and audience scale, while smaller rooms rely on capturing subtle expressions, crowd reactions, and atmosphere.
I’ve worked with comedians and productions from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, including British, Latin, and international acts.
Comedy is deeply connected to culture and timing, and understanding those nuances allows me to anticipate moments, reactions, and interactions that truly define a performance.
Whether it’s a sold-out theatre or a late-night set in a packed bar, my approach remains consistent: document the performance as it unfolds naturally, without interrupting the flow of the show.
